Dedicated Rescue Team of Pench National Park in Seoni Caught Tiger After Hours of Rescue Operation

Madhya Pradesh/ Pench National Park/ News Update: A resident team of the Pench National Park has caught tiger on Thursday in a parade of panic in Panjarpani village of Kurai range of south Banyan in Seoni district. After two hours of continuous rescue operation from revenues in the Parasapani jungle, they got success in catching the tiger after trunculating the big cat. The tiger has been sent to Mukundpur Zoo of Rewa. Villagers living in panic on the tiger’s arrest have breathed a sigh of relief.

Forest department officials said the tiger was unhealthy. That is why he was roaming around the village and he was not able to hunt. He had injured two persons by attacking on June 4th. Officials say that there is another tiger in the area whose information is being taken and we are trying hard.

Kurai Wildlife Officer Basant Barkade said that the rescue team of the Pench National Park arrived at Parasapani at 5 am on Thursday morning. Around 6.30 am, the rescue was started to catch the tiger. The location of the tiger was detected with the help of three elephants.

The tiger was located near the Parasapani village well made near the sugarcane crop. After getting the location of the tiger at 8.30 pm; Dr Akhilesh Mishra of Pench National Park tranquilized the tiger, as reported. After testing the tiger, he has been sent to Mukundpur Zoo.
